A lot of us want to learn, grow and evolve. But how willing are you to leave your comfort zone to get there?
If you did the same workout every single day for a year, you would eventually stop seeing progress. You would reach a plateau because your body stopped being stressed in new ways. The same applies in other areas of your life. In order to evolve and learn new things, you must find new ways to stretch yourself. Oftentimes, it means leaning into fear and taking chances.
So today, I challenge you to see what’s on the other side of fear. Today, you will create an October goal that will stretch your limits.
If you enjoy walking or running, we have just launched an EYP virtual October Challenge. The challenge consists of walking/running 31 miles in 31 days. You can learn more about it by clicking here. If that challenge is not the right fit for you, that’s ok. Take the time to brainstorm on another challenge.
Here are a few prompts to help narrow down your goal.
- What are you curious about?
- What scares you?
- What have you been reluctant to try?
- What would you gain by leaning into that activity?
Time to create your challenge!
E.g. My goal is to run 2 miles every other day for the next 4 weeks so that I can complete 31 miles by the end of October and learn what my body is capable of.
My goal is to ________________________ by ______________________ so that I can _________________________.
We cannot wait to hear about the goals you have set for yourself this month. Tag us at @_embraceyourpace to share your journey.
